SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 24 September 2019 - Chubb announced today the appointment of Ian Ovenden as the new Head of Middle Market & Small Commercial for Asia with effect from 23 September. In his new appointment, he will report to Jason Keen, Chubb's Regional Head of Property & Casualty for Asia Pacific.
Mr. Ovenden has over 15 years of experience in the industry in both underwriting, distribution and leadership roles, delivering profitable growth, strong relationship management and technical underwriting capability. Prior to joining Chubb, he was based in Hong Kong with an international insurer as the Head of Underwriting and Broker Distribution. In his role as Asia's Head of Middle Market & Small Commercial, he is tasked with bringing to bear the full capabilities of Chubb's product innovation, channel expertise in agency, bancassurance, broker and digital channels to serve the specific risk management requirements of the segment.
On this new appointment, Mr. Keen said, "Ian has broad management experience having worked in strategic, regional and operational roles.
