　　美國東部時間週日晚上8點，西部時間下午5點，香港時間9月23日上午9點，第71屆艾美獎（Emmy Awards）在美國加州洛杉磯市微軟劇院舉行，頒出了2019年度（2018.6-2019.5）的電視劇集類的獎項，雖然第八季沒有想像中的精彩好看，但並不妨礙《權力的遊戲》成為最大贏家；第8季獲得32個獎項提名，獲得12個獎項；全八季共獲得161項提名，斬獲57個獎項。

　　本屆艾美獎電視劇集類獎項禮分成兩次舉行：本次頒發的演員及主創人員的作品類獎項；上週末（9.14-15）頒發了創意藝術艾美獎（Creative Arts Emmy Awards）的幕後劇組團隊的技術類獎項。

權遊作品類獲獎情況

　　第八季提名並最終斬獲最佳劇情類電視劇獎（Outstanding Drama Series）。小惡魔彼得·丁拉基提名並最終斬獲最佳男配角獎，這也是他第五次獲此獎項。

　　此外，龍媽艾米莉亞·克拉克提名了最佳女主角獎（Outstanding Lead Actress）；私生子基特·惠靈頓提名了最佳男主角獎（Outstanding Lead Actor）。

　　美人格溫多蘭·克里斯蒂、瑟曦琳娜·海蒂、珊莎索菲·特納、二丫麥茜·威廉姆斯提名了最佳女配角獎（Outstanding Supporting Actress）；席恩阿爾菲·艾倫、詹姆尼可拉·科斯特-瓦爾道提名了最佳男配角獎（Outstanding Supporting Actor）。

　　第八季第3集“長夜”、第4集“最後的史塔克”和第6集“鐵王座”提名了最佳導演獎（Outstanding Directing）；兩位編劇David Benioff和Daniel Brett Weiss提名了最佳編劇獎（Outstanding writing）。

　　紅袍女卡里斯·範·侯登提名了劇情類最佳客串女演員獎（Outstanding Guest Actress）

　　權遊第八季還獲得了以下10個技術類獎項：
