衞生署上月（30日）發現一款名為「Skin 18」的面膜，含有未標示及受管制的固醇物質，可引致皮膚問題及全身性副作用，呼籲市民不要購買或使用。

衞生署在旺角一零售店鋪售賣「Skin 18」面膜產品，並取得產品樣本作化驗。政府化驗所的檢驗結果顯示，該款面膜產品樣本含有屬於《藥劑業及毒藥條例》（《條例》）（第138章）下的第1部毒藥「氟輕鬆」，屬類固醇物質，含「氟輕鬆」的產品只可憑醫生處方在註冊藥劑師監督下於藥房出售，不當或過量使用類固醇會引致皮膚問題及全身性副作用如圓臉、高血壓、高血糖、肌肉萎縮、腎上腺皮質功能不全及骨質疏鬆等。已購買上述產品的市民應停止使用，如有懷疑或用後感到不適，應尋求醫護人員的意見。
藥監局：台知名面膜含菌量嚴重超標 長期使用或致胎兒畸形
早前，國家藥品監督管理局報告公布了27批次不合格面膜。檢測結果顯示，其中一款面膜菌落總數更是超出標準限量值7200倍。更有面膜被檢出非法添加糖皮質激素，長期使用會導致浮腫、痤瘡、皮膚變薄，嚴重者更會致胎兒畸形等。
其中，最引起消費者廣泛關注的一款不合格面膜是 台灣知名品牌「森田保濕精華水嫩面膜」。
台灣品牌面膜物美價廉，不少港人到台旅遊都必定掃貨。「森田保濕精華水嫩面膜」在港台地區均有售。
其不合格項目為霉菌和酵母菌值嚴重超標。該款產品被檢驗出含酵母菌值240CFU/g（一般霉菌的限定值為100CFU/g）
