If you are looking for a refreshing drink to kick the summer heat then you must try this Agua Fresca! It is so delicious and super easy to make. . . Strawberry Pineapple Agua Fresca Ingredients: 1lb. Strawberries, hulled and chopped (3 big strawberries saved to slice and put in the pitcher) 1 Pineapple, chopped (1/2-1c. saved to put in pitcher) 5c Cold Water (1c. separated) 2tbsp Lime juice Simple syrup (1c water + 1c sugar heated on the stove over medium heat until clear) Mint Leaves, for garnish. Directions: 1. In a blender, combine 1 cup of water, strawberries and pineapple. Puree until smooth. 2. Pour mixture into a pitcher and add the lime juice and remaining water while slowly stirring. 3. Add simple syrup to taste and stir again. (I added about 3/4c.) 4. Add the remaining fresh fruit and fresh mint leaves to the pitcher and stir again. 5. Chill overnight. Serve over ice and garnish with fruit and mint leaves. 6.
